Since January 2007, I am a Research Engineer with the Signal Innovations Group in Research Triangle Park, NC.
I obtained the Ph.D degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2007 under the guidance of Professor Rama Chellappa.

My current research is on modeling patterns of activity in videos; discerning events and behavior; finding suitable distance metrics to classify activities based on motion.
Previously, as part of MS research, I worked on human identification using gait as a biometric.
