Never Make a Deal With a Dragon...

I'm interested in a little bit of everything, but the things that I actually manage to do are limited, mainly by the amount of time in the day. Unfortunately, I have not managed to invent a time warp device to allow me to add time to my day, so I'm left struggling to fit far too many things into far too short periods of time.

Somehow, I have a feeling that I'm far from unique in this respect. So for anyone who wants to possibly add even more things to their day, this page is full of all the things I waste time with. Some of them actually have some redeeming qualities.

    Games

I play games. Lots of them. Just about anything ranging from solitaire to hours long strategy games. I play computer games, card games, board games, and mind games. I even occasionally play sports, when I'm in decent shape.

    Role-Playing Games

    • Earthdawn
    • Shadowrun
    • Changeling
    • Mage
    • Werewolf

    Miniatures Games

    • Warzone
    • Necromunda

    Strategy Games

    • Starfire

    Computers

My computer takes up more of my time than anything else, though I think I'm managing to work on that a little. I find computers fascination, and the stuff that is possible with them little short of incredible.

I somehow managed to scrape together enough money to upgrade my computer a little, so know I'm working with a 133MHz Pentium with more hard-drive space than I know what to do with. Though I'm working on that. :> Unfortunately, I don't have a direct Internet connection anymore, so I'm back to mostly playing games on it. Oh well, that's life.

Check out my page of Internet and Computer Resources for some links to sites I've found helpful.

    Martial Arts

I am currently studying Aikido under Saotome Sensei of the Aikido Schools of Ueshiba. Aikido is a defensive Japanes martial art which specializes in using your opponent's force against him/her. I briefly looked into Tae Kwan Do as well, though time constraints keep me from attending classes. Tae Kwan Do is an offensive style of Karate specializing in kicks and speed. I have also studied a style of Karate called Teng Soo Do, taught by the Thompkins Karate Association in Maryland.

If you're interested at all in Aikido, check out the University of Maryland Aikido Club's web page for more information.

Tae Kwan Do also has a web page, if you want to know more. I'm also interested in studying Kendo and Jiu-Jitsu at some time in the future.
