The Compatriots of the Great Hero Sasquatch

"First, let me tell you of the many and varied members of this illustrious
group, for in order to truly understand their experiences, you must understand
at least a little of what makes each of these Name-givers unique. Sit back
and let my words enfold you with the reality of having a tail, living several
hundred years, or perhaps the feeling of flight as I describe these heroes to
you."
- Owl
- Some of you may know of those Humans who live a nomadic life on the plains
of Barsaive called Dinganni. Owl was born and raised among them, learning the
Discipline of the Scout as he grew up, so that he might best serve his tribe.
Quiet and thoughtful, Owl embodies the Scout's principle of looking before you
leap.
- K'harra Shustal
- Fond though Name-givers may be of generalization, the popular image of
T'skrang as talkative and boisterous to the extreme fails when confronted with
this youngster. K'harra, an Archer as well as a Questor of Mynbruje, is
not, as most T'skrang are, overly loud or pretentious. Possessed of a keen
wit and boundless compassion, K'harra belies her youth with the maturity of
one much older.
- Forge
- Ridley Lightwing
- F'thaka Mindlina-Antoine
Jezebel R'tas za'Kalarosh
- Ruis shai Saille
- The tale of the Windling Ruis shai Saille is both a sad and a joyous one.
Having had her voice and memory torn from her by a Horror when she was still
young, she wandered long before encountering Sasquatch's Compatriots. Since
that fortunate occurence, she has matured rapidly, both in spirit and in her
chosen Discipline, that of the Wind-Dancer.
- Tristam
- Sworn Blood-Brother to Sasquatch, Tristam can always be found at his
brother's side. These two make an interesting pair, for Tristam is a T'skrang,
as well as a Sky-Raider. Strange as it may be, these two heroes are the
perfect complement to each other, enabling them to face ever more difficult
opponents and come out unscathed.
- Sasquatch
- Born and raised among Trolls, Sasquatch is highly unusual among Elves.
He is also unusual among Trolls, for he follows the Discipline of the Wizard.
However, this uniqueness has enabled him to become one of the many storied
heroes of Barsaive. The exploits of Sasquatch and his Compatriots will soon
be among the most famous in the land.
"Now let me regale you with tales of the great deeds and adventures of this
hardy group of Name-givers. Tales that will fill your soul with wonder, give
flight to your wildest dreams, and convince you once more of life's immense
opportunities. Here is a tale of their
adventures..."
"Hear now of the many foes they faced and defeated, foes numerous and powerful
enough to cause many a would-be hero to quake in fear, foes whose defeat has
brought life and joy back to many a Name-giver. Sit and listen as the tale
of the enemies of the Compatriots
unfolds...
