• August 16th, 2004. I joined Siemens Corporate Research as a research scientist.
   
• July 7th, 2004. I defended my Ph.D. thesis entitled "Unconstrained Face Recognition".
   
• My work on face recognition is the cover story of Continuum (spring, 2004), a quarterly magazine of College of Computer, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences (CMPS) at the University of Maryland.
